About TheNimto

Plan your event with the people who actually run it.

TheNimto is an event management and planning platform in Nepal. We bring together the venues, caterers, photographers, decorators, makeup and mehendi artists, DJs and wedding transport you need — and then get out of the way so you can talk to them yourself.

Planning a wedding in Nepal has traditionally meant handing it to one company and accepting whichever suppliers they work with, at a price you cannot break down. We think you should see what everything costs, choose each part yourself, and deal with the people doing the work.

No commission. No markup. No middleman deciding for you.

We make booking simple and keep a record of what was agreed — but the event is yours and the vendor is yours. You pay their price, not ours.

You talk to the vendor

Message the venue, the photographer, the decorator — directly, in your own words. No account manager relaying your date or your guest count, and no waiting on a go-between for an answer.

You pay the vendor’s price

The price on the listing is the vendor’s own. We add no commission and no markup for you — what you agree with them is what you pay.

You choose every part

Pick your venue from one listing and your photographer from another. Nobody bundles suppliers you did not choose or steers you toward a partner.

What you get by booking here

You could ring every venue yourself. Booking through TheNimto gives you a few things that phone calls do not.

Everything agreed, in writing

The package, the price, the date and the guest count are recorded against your booking. No relying on what was said in a phone call three months before the wedding.

Pay how it suits you

Pay online by card or Connect IPS, or choose Cash on Premises and settle at the venue once the vendor confirms your booking. The choice is yours at the point of booking.

Vendors are checked first

Every listing is reviewed by our team before it goes live, so you are choosing between businesses that have already been through a check — not names from a search.

Reviews from real bookings

Ratings come from people who actually booked through the platform and held their event. You are reading experience, not testimonials a vendor picked.

A score you can trust

Each listing carries a Listing Score out of 100, built from reviews, bookings, and how quickly the vendor replies. It rewards vendors who look after customers — and it cannot be bought.

Prices you can compare

Vendors publish real prices — per plate, per package — instead of "call for a quote". You can rule places out on budget before spending a Saturday visiting them.

Free to use

Browsing, comparing, saving favourites and sending enquiries costs you nothing. You pay the vendor for their work, and nothing to us.

Your whole event in one place

Venue, photographer, decorator, makeup — booked from one account, with every confirmation and message kept together instead of scattered across chats.

You earn reward points

Completed bookings earn points based on what you spent, redeemable from our rewards catalogue — everyday items through to gold. Refer a friend and you both earn when they book.

Your booking earns you something back

Weddings are expensive enough. Every booking you complete through TheNimto earns reward points based on what you spent — yours to redeem from our rewards catalogue, which runs from everyday items up to gold.

Book and hold your event

Points are credited once your event has actually happened, so what you earn reflects a booking that went ahead.

Earn on what you spend

Points scale with the booking value, so a full wedding earns more than a single service. You can see the estimate before you book.

Bring a friend, both earn

Every account has a referral code. When someone books through yours, you both earn points on their completed booking.

What we actually do

We verify vendors before listing them and publish their real prices and photographs, so a banquet hall in Baneshwor and a party palace in Bhaktapur can be compared on menu price per plate and hall capacity rather than on marketing. Every listing shows what it costs, how many guests it holds, and what the last customers thought of it.

What we do not do is decide for you. There is no package we push, no supplier we are paid to recommend, and no commission riding on which venue you pick.

Where to start

Most people begin with the venue, since it fixes the date and the guest count everything else depends on. Once that is settled, fit photography, decoration and makeup around the space.

Common questions

Is TheNimto an event management company?

TheNimto is an event management platform rather than a traditional agency. Instead of running your event with one in-house team and a fixed set of suppliers, we verify vendors across Nepal, publish their real prices, and connect you with them directly. You choose each part of your event and deal with each vendor yourself.

Does TheNimto take a commission on my booking?

No. We do not take a commission from you or add a markup to what a vendor quotes. The price you see on a listing is the vendor's own published price, and the agreement you make is between you and them. Using the platform is free for people planning an event.

Do I book through TheNimto or directly with the vendor?

You book through TheNimto, and the vendor confirms it. That gives you a written record of the package, price and date, and the choice of paying online or as Cash on Premises. What we do not do is come between you and the vendor: you message them directly, you agree the details with them, and the work is theirs.

How do I pay for a booking?

You can pay online by credit card or Connect IPS, or choose Cash on Premises and settle at the venue once the vendor has confirmed. The choice is yours at the point of booking, and the amount is the vendor's own price.

What happens after I book?

The vendor confirms your booking, and the details are kept in your account — the package, the price, the date and your messages with them. From there you deal with the vendor directly for anything that needs arranging.

Which cities in Nepal does TheNimto cover?

All over Nepal. Vendors are listed nationwide — from Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur to Pokhara, Chitwan, Butwal, Biratnagar and beyond. Every category page lets you browse by city, so you can see exactly who is available wherever your event is happening.

What kinds of events can I plan with TheNimto?

Weddings and receptions are the largest category, but the same vendors cover engagements, mehendi and haldi functions, bratabandha, birthdays, corporate events and conferences. The venues listed range from banquet halls seating 150 to party palaces taking over 1,000 guests.

Do I get anything back for booking through TheNimto?

Yes. Completed bookings earn reward points based on what you spent, and you redeem them from our rewards catalogue — which runs from everyday items up to gold. Points are credited once your event has actually taken place. Every account also has a referral code: when a friend books through it, you both earn on their completed booking.

Are the vendors on TheNimto verified?

Vendors are reviewed before their listings go live, and each carries a Listing Score reflecting how complete and current its information is. Ratings and reviews on each listing come from people who booked through the platform.
